Position Summary

This role is responsible for developing and expanding relationships with both new and existing customers to drive account growth. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, results-driven, and has a demonstrated track record of success in sales.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Communicate effectively with customers via phone, written correspondence, and other methods to ensure a high level of customer service and strong client relationships
  • Prepare clear, accurate written documentation related to quotes, sales orders, and other required records
  • Maintain and interpret all quote documentation, ensuring accurate pricing and configurations; prepare quotes and contracts for prospective customers
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships to identify current needs and anticipate future opportunities
  • Generate new business through cold calling, follow up on sales leads, and successfully close sales
  • Submit timely call reports and prepare sales reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales data

Qualifications

  • Previous sales or customer service experience is required
  • Experience in the metals industry or aluminum sales is a plus
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks; detail-oriented
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Strong mathematical aptitude
