This position reports to:
Vice President of Sales, Energy Industrie
In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop an effective sales strategy within the specified market scope and maintain it, to improve ABB’s market penetration and realize growth aspirations. Each day, you will define, plan, lead, and ensure the execution of sales strategy to achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets for products, systems, and/or services to ensure sustainable order growth, revenue, profitability, market share, sales productivity, and customer satisfaction.
You will also showcase your expertise by leading, developing, and coaching the Sales organization to achieve the sales targets, through high performance.
The work model for the role is:
Hybrid (must be based in Houston, TX)
This role is contributing to the PAEN USA Division. Main stakeholders are VP USA Sales and VP/GM USA.
- Anticipating and identifying the shortfalls in performance and takes appropriate remedial actions, proactively.
- Identifying and evaluating new opportunities with existing and potential customers, determines plans for implementation, and allocates required resources.
- Planning and executing customer surveys and acts on the survey results to ensure high level of customer satisfaction.
- Participating in the negotiation of key contracts.

You will join a high performing large project pursuit team, where you will be able to thrive.
- Experience with EPC and Cap-Ex project environments.
- 10+ years of experience in Industrial Automation major greenfield sales pursuits.
- Experienced in executive level and senior management level discussions around automation projects.
- Experience creating unique value propositions and understanding strategic selling principles
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Valid USA work authorization
