Sales Representative | Industrial Equipment
Location: Houston, TX (Onsite + Field Visits)
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Employment Type: Full-Time
Compensation: $80,000 – $95,000 Base Salary + Commission / Bonus
We are partnering with a growing industrial equipment company seeking a driven and relationship-focused Sales Representative to help expand market share and drive new business development.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives on building relationships, prospecting new customers, and presenting technical solutions that help industrial clients improve operations.
Position OverviewThe Sales Representative is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing relationships with prospective and existing customers, and promoting equipment and service solutions. This role represents the company both in and out of the office and plays a key role in driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities- Identify and develop new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, and prospecting
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
- Educate customers on industrial equipment solutions including air handling equipment and nitrogen generation systems
- Develop sales presentations and proposals tailored to customer needs
- Respond to inbound customer inquiries and provide product recommendations
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and prepare sales agreements
- Maintain accurate documentation of customer communications, contracts, and sales activities
- Track sales pipeline activity and provide regular updates to leadership
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful project delivery and customer satisfaction
- Follow up with customers to maintain long‑term relationships and identify additional opportunities
- Represent the company at industry expos, conventions, and networking events
- Transport and set up marketing materials or displays for trade shows and customer presentations
- Meet and exceed sales goals set by leadership
- Previous experience in B2B sales, industrial sales, or equipment sales preferred
- Strong networking, relationship‑building, and negotiation skills
- Confidence in prospecting and cold calling to generate new business
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and manage a sales pipeline
- Professional presentation and customer‑facing communication skills
- Comfortable attending industry events, customer meetings, and trade shows
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to travel locally for customer meetings and industry events
- Ability to stand for extended periods during expos or presentations
- Ability to transport marketing materials or display equipment when attending events
This role is based onsite with regular interaction with customers in office, shop, and field environments. The Sales Representative will also attend customer meetings, industry events, and trade shows as part of business development activities. The position requires strong collaboration with internal teams and consistent engagement with clients to drive revenue growth.
