The Senior Biopsy Sales Specialist is responsible for launching a first-of-its-kind breast biopsy platform in breast centers across the eastern portion of the United States. This position reports to the Director, Strategic Accounts and is part of the strategic accounts team and will be fully remote.
Responsibilities- Lead a clinical, operational, and financially based sales process that maximizes profit margins on equipment, disposable and service contract sales to achieve product launch objectives, as well as quarterly and annual order and revenue targets.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with healthcare stakeholders across hospitals, physician practices, and imaging centers to identify qualified leads, grow market share, increase revenue, and reduce customer attrition.
- Partner with cross-functional global teams including clinical applications, field sales, product management, and sales leadership to modify/develop strategies that will help facilitate a successful launch in the US market.
- Demonstrate situational fluency of each customer’s equipment configuration base and create tailored sales proposals aligned with their clinical needs and budget process.
- Reduce cycle time by using (CRM tool) to track customer and account activity, improve visibility, drive market share, and prioritize the sales funnel.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in healthcare capital equipment sales or procedure-based medical device sales, preferably in MRI or breast health.
- Proven history of leading within cross-functional sales teams to achieve client needs and sales quotas, including capital sales and product launches.
- Strong clinical acumen and ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively.
- Excellent presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Travel:
Weekly travel, 50-75%, required, including domestic and potentially international travel to support learnings from out-of-region product launches.
The annual salary range for this role is $,000. This job is eligible for commission, with a total compensation target of $,000 annually. This range may be modified in the future. The role is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
