Overview

AIT is seeking driven sales professionals with a growth mindset to work for one of the fastest‑growing global logistics providers in the 3PL industry. Senior Account Executives work in a fast‑paced environment and are passionate about hunting for new business opportunities. The role requires a proactive approach to identifying and securing new clients while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and earning our customers’ trust as one of our core values.

Responsibilities
  • Accountable for directly identifying and initiating business development opportunities through an established network of industry contacts, providing sustained and profitable revenue streams across multiple services.
  • Develop and execute a business plan that achieves sales quota and budget as defined by the company.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understand their needs, and provide tailored solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to potential clients, showcasing services and solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Present an array of logistics solutions that enable numerous entry points into accounts.
  • Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and KPI updates to sales management.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • Six (6) or more years of Freight Forwarding sales experience preferred; operational Freight Forwarding experience is a big plus.
  • Proven track record of leading successful sales deals with revenue volumes of $500–1M+ and exceeding sales goals and budget.
  • Extensive experience in international logistics and supply chain solutions.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and persuasive negotiation skills with business acumen.
  • Adaptable to rapid and frequent changes to address the needs of clients and company goals.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to develop new, innovative solutions.
  • High drive and energy to manage multiple accounts while searching for new business opportunities.
  • Strong time management, organizational, and analytical abilities.
  • Enthusiastic and passionate about continuous personal and professional development, training, and team building.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High level of professional and customer‑service orientation.
  • Strong computer skills in MS Office, CRM, and other sales tools.
What AIT Can Offer You

In addition to your base compensation, you may be eligible for commissions up to 6% based on specific sales goals and objectives (dependent on the position).
