The Opportunity
We’re looking for a high‑energy, highly motivated Technical Sales Representative who can sell our vision and purpose of applying industry‑leading, innovative chemicals that solve our clients’ toughest challenges.
With an energy industry background, you’re a professional with a reputable track record in chemical sales who knows how to achieve targets through self‑motivation, persistence, and determination. You have the creativity and problem‑solving ability to deliver to our clients the best chemical products for their application, all while demonstrating the highest levels of integrity and honesty.
In this role, you will identify new business opportunities daily, sell our innovative chemical products, develop client relationships, prepare reports, achieve your revenue budget, and be an active team member. This position reports directly to the FQE Chemicals Sales Manager and is supported by the Technology Director and Managing Director.
Duties & Responsibilities- Create and develop targeted sales opportunities
- Consistently close deals on an ongoing basis and provide professional support service to all clients
- Explain how our products enhance a client system or application
- Ensure the client’s requirements are met
- Establish and maintain close relationships with clients – keeping them informed of product advancements and case history
- Create a deliverable revenue budget and achieve targets on a monthly basis
- Monitor and report budget progress by client and application type on a weekly basis
- Plan, execute and finalize tenders for projects according to company’s and clients’ procedures, timelines and budgets
- Collaborate with contracts team on commercial and legal terms related to purchase orders and purchase contracts
- Participate in field tests that demonstrate our products to create long‑term clients through engagement
- Minimum 10 years knowledge and experience in the oil and gas, petrochemicals, pipeline, or storage terminal sectors or chemical sales industry
- University degree in sciences or engineering or 5 years of process operations in energy process
- Proven sales achievement and skills
