A Day In The Life
As a National Account Manager at Monster Energy, you'll drive sales growth and manage day-to-day activities with key customers. Your goal is to maximize share growth and profitability, ensuring Monster Energy's brands dominate the market. You will manage all aspects of the brand portfolio on assigned accounts, supporting and executing impactful annual business plans. Your strategic leadership will align with the customer's key business goals, propelling Monster Energy to new heights.
The Impact You'll Make
- Achieve sales goals by collaborating with assigned accounts, internal teams, bottling networks, and stakeholders. Meet or exceed key sales metrics such as case volume, revenue, and trade spend.
- Lead joint business planning (JBP) with customers, negotiate price plans, sales programs, contracts, and strategic initiatives to support mutual growth, innovation, and distribution.
- Collaborate with bottling partners to execute plans involving distribution, program execution, pricing, and other initiatives. Identify opportunities to improve customer service and business performance.
- Develop and maintain good business relations with accounts. Lead and manage teams through business challenges, developing profitable and strategic plans aligned with corporate and brand goals.
- Monitor business plans and their impact, proactively resolving issues and communicating updates timely.
- Stay informed on industry trends and manage account communications on promotional opportunities.
- Use data to assess business performance and convert insights into sales solutions.
- Ensure accurate data sharing and model exemplary behavior as a representative of the company.
- Build and maintain annual volume and revenue plans supporting mutual growth within budgets.
Who You Are
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field.
- More than 5 years of experience in retail, broker, and distributor sales environments.
- Experience with PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and data tools like Nielsen or IRI.
- Experience with the Supermarket Channel preferred.
Monster Energy offers a competitive total compensation package; this position has an estimated annual salary of $65,000 - $111,760, depending on skills and experience.
