Sales Executive- Steel Industry

About the Role

Part of a global team trading in a wide range of steel products is currently seeking a Outside Sales Representative in their Houston, TX office.

A metal solutions provider not only to companies worldwide, but also right next door. They offer value‑added steel and aluminum solutions to customers in the automotive, construction, appliance, food, medical and aerospace industries, just to name a few.

• Developing new business opportunities, providing quotes to customers and securing orders.
• Assisting in maintaining current customer relationships.
• Reviewing and negotiating settlement of claims/collections for assigned accounts.
• Monitoring customer credit limits and inventory levels.
• Coordinating logistic issues by communicating with suppliers, manufacturers, and customers in order to fulfill requests.
• Working with staff members engaged in providing sales/client support, i.e. invoices, purchase orders and import/export documentation and monitoring credit limits.
• Qualified candidates will have a Bachelors degree along with 7-10 years relevant experience. Steel experience required. Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to handle multiple tasks, detail orientation and computer literacy are a must.
