Overview
A large chemical manufacturing client of Insight Global is seeking a Technical Sales Representative to join their team in Houston, TX. This role will be a mix of warm and cold leads, with time spent cold calling, prospecting, and generating new business, while maintaining relationships that have already been established. The established salary for this role is $90-130k, based on experience in polymer sales.
Responsibilities- Build and maintain relationships with clients in the industrial water/waste water industry.
- Develop new business through a mix of warm and cold leads, including cold calling and prospecting.
- Travel approximately 60% of the time, with some overnight stays throughout the Southeast territory.
- 2+ years of experience in polymer or water treatment sales
- Ability to generate new business
- Understanding of the chemical industry
- Mid-Senior level
