OverviewThe principal role of the Channel Partner Manager (CPM) is to develop multiple sales opportunities by cultivating relationships with partners (brokers/consultants) and customers. The person in this position will develop expertise around all aspects of the customer and broker end-to-end journey and be the voice of the customer/partner within Smartest Energy.
The Texas CPM will be one of the primary users of Smartest Energy’s Salesforce CRM and will be involved in the configuration of the system.
This position will be responsible for working closely with sales support, customer service, pricing, operations, enrolments, billing, credit and IT with the goals of, i.) maximizing sales, retention and ii.) high customer and broker satisfaction.
In this role, you will be involved with the following:- Develop and implement a strong customer focus within Smartest Energy.
- Develop strong relationships with multiple brokers inclusive of travel to broker.
- Lead the partner enabling process.
- Collaborate with customers and partners to originate new business.
- Initiate and support new products for customers and partners.
- Support sales support and customer service where needed.
- Attend market specific conferences.
- Maximizing sales in the TX (ERCOT) Market
- Seasoned selling skills including consultative selling skills to understand customer needs
- Established broker network within ERCOT (TX) market
- Strong knowledge of electricity retail supply business, including pricing, regulatory rules and sales
- Energetic, driven and committed to success while working under tight time constraints and pressure
- Strong stakeholder management skills and a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within and across teams
- High emotional resilience with strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
