Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Account Executive to join our sales force. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in consultative, high‑value technology sales, with expertise in driving complex sales cycles, building consensus amongst C‑suite executives, and educating clients for maximum resonance. This role focuses on driving revenue growth by identifying, pursuing, and closing new business. A successful candidate will be skilled at delivering value‑driven solutions, aligning with client goals, and excelling in a consultative sales environment.

  • Drive New Business Opportunities: Utilize the Challenger sales methodology to strategically target ideal customer profiles within your designated territory, focusing on IT, cybersecurity, marketing, and digital transformation solutions.
  • Solve Business Problems: Conduct exhaustive discovery, multi‑stakeholder alignment, and executive briefings to address organizational needs in IT, cybersecurity, digital transformation, and marketing.
  • Drive Innovation: Present and evaluate solution options, guiding decision makers toward precise, long‑term outcomes.
  • Become a Trusted Business Advisor: Use storytelling and the Business Transformation Assessment to demonstrate how solutions address challenges and future‑proof the organization, delivering executive‑level presentations and building long‑term roadmaps.
Responsibilities
  • Business Development:
    Proactively prospect and secure new accounts, leveraging support from an SDR and your own strategic outreach.
  • Consultative Selling:
    Understand clients’ objectives and challenges, articulate alternative perspectives, and challenge the status quo.
  • Solution Selling:
    Collaborate with technical teams to develop customized solutions tailored to client requirements.
  • Pipeline Management:
    Manage the sales pipeline from lead generation to closure, ensuring accurate forecasting and timely follow‑up.
  • Thought Leadership & Market Intelligence:
    Stay informed on the latest trends in IT, cybersecurity, marketing, AI, and digital transformation; serve as a subject‑matter expert.
  • Team

    Collaboration:

    Work closely with sales engineers, consultants, and support staff to deliver exceptional service.
  • Sales Technology Stack:
    Use Microsoft Dynamics (CRM), Sales Loft, 6

    Sense, and other tools to build targeted cadences and outreach strategies.
Things We Are Looking For

The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to navigate complex deal cycles and a passion for understanding and solving client challenges. They will excel at two‑way communication, identify economic drivers, use respectful pressure on customers, and build consensus among multiple stakeholders. A strong understanding of IT, cybersecurity, digital transformation, AI, and marketing is essential, paired with the ability to align these offerings strategically.

Qualifications
  • 7+ years of sales experience in IT, cybersecurity, digital transformation, marketing, business consulting, or related field.
  • Prior experience as an Account Executive, Enterprise Account Executive, Business Consultant, or similar role focused on new business.
  • Demonstrated success navigating multi‑stakeholder environments and long sales cycles (6+ months).
  • Strong experience engaging and influencing senior executives (CIO, CMO, COO, CFO, etc.).
  • Proficiency with sales tools such as Microsoft Dynamics, Sales Loft, 6

    Sense.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
