Overview
Retail Store Manager to join our team. Compensation ranges from $14.70 to $24.50 per hour with the potential for a very lucrative monthly bonus.
Position SummaryWe are seeking a Store Manager with 2+ years of management and customer service experience (retail/sales is a plus). The Store Manager is responsible for day-to-day store operations, leading and developing staff, maximizing financial goals, managing customer relations, and promoting a customer-centric environment. The role requires analyzing store financial statements and adjusting as needed to meet goals. The Manager commits to asset protection, uses internal and external marketing tools to drive new customer acquisition, and works with a variety of jewelry and general merchandise, including tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations), and more.
This position offers a competitive wage plus a bonus based on store performance. Pay is based on location, qualifications, and experience. The position reports to the area District Manager.
Responsibilities- Facilitate a customer-centric environment by engaging customers professionally and addressing issues promptly.
- Monitor and assist in training Pawnbrokers to meet First Cash standards.
- Recruit top talent through company-prescribed channels.
- Open and close the store, manage cash drawers and merchandise, and protect assets.
- Ensure asset protection via inventory control, safety procedures, documentation, and securing customer loans.
- Administer store processes including inventory, loan management, merchandising, store presentation, systems, and reporting.
- Analyze financial statements and drive profitability through communication and goal-setting.
- Ensure operating standards meet or exceed First Cash standards.
- Monitor loan qualification and buying processes for value and integrity.
- Complete assigned tasks and self-development training as requested.
- Communicate store mission and profit objectives clearly to employees.
- Maintain up-to-date product knowledge.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
- Must be willing and able to stand, walk, and perform duties for extended periods as required by law.
- Demonstrated ability to supervise others.
- Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified.
- May be asked to assist customers in exterior areas or retrieve products from exterior storage.
- Minimum Age: 18 years old.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to work in multiple locations as needed.
- Flexible retail schedule including weekends and holidays.
- Store Managers will work 45+ hours per week; hours are not guaranteed and vary by business needs.
- Computer literacy and ability to operate POS systems and office equipment.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment; detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Analytical skills and cash handling experience required.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent work ethic and strong business sense.

The employee commission incentive plan is proprietary to First Cash. Store Managers receive a commission based on the store’s monthly gross profit. Additional details are provided during the interview process.
