Under direct supervision, the Bulk Deli Cheese Clerk provides friendly, courteous, and helpful service. This position assists customers, cleans, fills, and rotates the cheese and deli displays in the Bulk Deli. Shifts begin with product replenishment as instructed by the Bulk Deli Manager or Assistant Bulk Deli Manager, and continue with customer assistance throughout the shift while maintaining departmental cleanliness.

• Read and write Spanish and English; interact with the general public and co‑workers.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees.
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently up to 45 pounds, and occasionally up to 60 pounds.
