• Read and write Spanish/English; interact with general public and coworkers

Under direct supervision from the Bakery Manager, the Bakery Clerk provides friendly, courteous, and helpful service to customers within the bakery department. The role includes assisting customers with bakery purchases, cleaning shelving and display cases, filling and rotating self‑serve displays in the front of the store or adjacent to the bakery, taking special orders, working with the baker to determine items that need baking or decorating, and hosing down floors with soap and water to maintain cleanliness.

The environment is fast‑paced, with essential functions including lifting, standing, walking, kneeling and visual and auditory requirements. Food Handler Card or its equivalent certification is required for all positions related to preparation, handling and serving food.
