Position Summary
Leads and develops teams effectively by teaching, training and actively listening to associates in stores, providing feedback and coaching. Communicates and collaborates with all levels of associates regarding store operations, technology initiatives, merchandising and company direction. Introduces and leads company change efforts, provides clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions, and communicates business objectives to teams.
Models and demonstrates exceptional customer service standards by following the One Best Way (OBW) service model. Manages and supports customer service initiatives such as community outreach programs, resolves customer needs, complaints and issues successfully, and develops action plans to correct deficiencies. Provides process improvement leadership to ensure a high‑quality customer experience.
Drives the financial performance and sales of the designated store area by reviewing PL Profit & Loss statements, budgeting, forecasting and controlling expenses. Ensures merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow and operational processes are effective, and mitigates shrink to achieve sales and profit goals.
Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates through hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, setting expectations, recognizing performance and promoting a belonging mindset in the workplace. Actively recruits and develops qualified associates to meet staffing needs and achieve company growth.
Coordinates store activities, maintains relationships with key stakeholders, supports plans and initiatives, identifies goals and objectives, builds accountability, measures progress, identifies improvement opportunities, and promotes continuous learning and adaptability.
Ensures compliance with company policies, procedures and ethics. Supports the Open Door Policy and applies business processes and practices with integrity. Builds high‑performing teams, embraces diversity, fosters a culture of belonging, attracts top talent, and recognizes contributions.
