• Continue to assist in maintaining a well-stocked and well-maintained meat department while delivering great customer service.
• Cut, prepare, tray, and merchandise fresh product daily under the supervision of a Meat Cutter I.
• Operate grinder, saw, knife sharpener, tenderizer, and slicer.
• Wrap, label, and weigh product packages for sale.
• Rotate product in the meat cooler and sales floor, ensuring proper storage practices.
• Communicate consistently to maintain the highest quality and freshness standards.
• Practice safety awareness and perform meat cutting duties safely at all times.
• Assist in technical areas as needed.

• Cuts, trims, and prepares meat for display according to company standards.
• Fills product orders such as chickens, hams, and seasoned meats as required.
• Operates grinder, saw, knife sharpener, tenderizer, and slicer.
• Weighs, wraps, and labels product packages for sale.
• Rotates product in meat cooler and sales floor, ensuring proper storage practices.
• Communicates regularly to meet quality and freshness standards.
• Maintains a safe work environment while performing meat cutting duties.
• Assists with additional technical tasks as requested.

• Provides exceptional customer service while cutting meat products and labeling appropriately.
• Answers customer questions regarding products and assists them with selections.

• Cleans and sanitizes display cases and operates/maintains equipment properly.
• Complies with departmental, store, and federal/state regulations.

• Minimum age 18 (mandatory).
• Willingness to stay attentive to customers' needs.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.

• Occasionally be exposed to loud noise, fumes, airborne particles, toxic or caustic materials.
• Safely maneuver around moving mechanical parts.
• Demonstrate ability to lift 90 lbs and manage in excess of 90 lbs.
• Physical requirements are measured as:
• Constantly: 5.5+ hours per 8‑hour day
• Frequently: 2.5 – 5.5 hours per 8‑hour day
• Occasionally: 0 – 2.5 hours per 8‑hour day
• Partners are responsible for never lifting beyond their safe lifting limit. If an item is too heavy to lift, push, pull, or carry, seek assistance or break it into manageable parts.
