Overview

We are currently looking for the right Full-Time Retail Sales Associate to join our Team!

Salary: $10.00 to $14.00 per hour. We offer a commission structure that pays you for every transaction you process. Our retail sales associates can earn up to 8% on transactions, which could average an additional $2.81 per hour on top of your hourly rate.

We are seeking entry-level, full-time sales associates in our pawn store locations nationwide. The Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate partners with the store team to ensure customer service on both lending and retail sides. The role greets, engages, and interacts with customers to process sales, loans, and other transactions, and resolves customer inquiries and problems. The associate works with a wide variety of jewelry and general merchandise, including tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations), and more.

The Full-Time Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate earns an hourly wage plus commission based on productivity. Pay varies by location, qualifications, and experience.

• Greets and interacts with customers to develop rapport and provide appropriate financial solutions.
• Performs non-management open/close procedures.
• Keeps the sales floor clean, stocked, and displays merchandise.
• Performs sales and loan transactions per policies and regulatory requirements.
• Handles cash and negotiable items per policies and regulatory requirements.
• Answers incoming calls per company standards.
• Communicates legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.
• Communicates effectively with coworkers and managers, demonstrating respect and effective communication tools.
• Partners with staff to create a positive customer experience.
• Completes required training successfully.
• Other related duties as assigned.

• Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to stand, walk, and perform duties for extended periods as required by law.
• Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified.
• Ability to assist customers outside the building or retrieve products stored in exterior areas when needed.
• Minimum Age: 18;
  High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Strong desire to work, serve customers, and be team-oriented; ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to perform basic math and cash handling experience preferred.
• Ability to work at multiple locations as needed; flexible retail schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Computer literate; able to operate POS systems and general office machines.

The employee commission incentive plan is proprietary to First Cash. Pawnbrokers have the potential to earn 2–8% commission based on gross profit from personal performance. More details are provided during the interview process.
