Retail Assistant Store Manager

Overview

Retail Assistant Store Manager – 2267  are currently looking for the right Retail Assistant Store Manager to join our Team.

• Facilitate a customer-centric environment by engaging customers in a friendly and professional manner and rapidly addressing customer issues.
• Monitor and assist in the training of Pawnbrokers so their development meets First Cash standards.
• Recruit top talent by sourcing candidates through company-prescribed channels.
• Open and close the store, including counting cash drawers and merchandise and ensuring procedures protect assets.
• Ensure asset protection through inventory control, safety procedures, documentation, and safeguarding customer loans.
• Administer processes within the store, including inventory, loan management, merchandising, store presentation, store systems, and reporting.
• Evaluate store financial statements and drive profitability through communication and goal setting.
• Ensure operating standards meet or exceed First Cash standards.
• Monitor loan qualification and buying processes to ensure value and integrity of all loans issued.
• Complete assigned tasks and training for self-development as requested.
• Communicate clearly with employees to ensure understanding of the store’s mission and profit objectives.
• Remain up-to-date on product knowledge.
• Act as manager on duty in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Other related duties as assigned.

• Must be willing and able to perform duties for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise others and work with firearms (including the potential to become firearms certified).
• Minimum Age: 18 years old;
  High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to work a flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays; 40+ hours per week.
• Computer literate with experience using POS systems; ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent work ethic, strong business sense, and cash handling experience.

• Hourly wage with commission and bonus based on store performance; first earnings are from base hourly rate plus commission up to 2-8% based on personal and store gross profit.
