How You’ll Make an Impact
  • Ensure high‑quality products are fresh, ready and available in the café.
  • Keep shelves clean, maintain temperature control, verify expiration dates and dispose of lesser‑quality food products.
  • Pack ready‑to‑sell products in proper containers and stock displays.
  • Prepare and serve ready‑to‑eat food.
  • Maintain a clean, sanitized, member‑ready area.
Responsibilities
  • Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise; collaborate with cross‑functional teams and educate other associates on tools, tasks and resources; communicate effectively with team members; remain flexible to business needs and support other areas.
  • Prepare food according to item specifications; understand and plan future productions and mass productions; prepare for seasonality; adhere to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, inventory management; operate, maintain and sanitize equipment; demonstrate understanding of product and layout execution.
  • Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience and elevate associate engagement; use handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, ordering merchandise, receiving club pick‑up orders, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them.
  • Drive performance of the area; stock and rotate merchandise; ensure quality and date‑control standards; eliminate waste; provide member service by acknowledging members and identifying their needs; assist with purchasing decisions; handle payment types; locate merchandise; resolve member issues and concerns.
  • Act as a brand advocate; develop, influence and inspire others to work in a respectful, supportive and team‑oriented style; understand roadblocks and assist in training.
  • Comply with company policies, procedures and standards of ethics and integrity; implement related action plans; use the Open Door Policy; apply these in executing business processes.
  • Complete work assignments and priorities by using policies, data and resources; collaborate with managers, coworkers, customers, and business partners; identify priorities, deadlines, expectations; communicate progress; determine and recommend ways to address improvement opportunities; adapt to and learn from change, difficulties and feedback.
