This position requires the Hostess to greet guests at the door, seat and present clean menus to guests in a friendly, professional, and quick manner. It also requires the Host to interact with, entertain, and provide best‑in‑class service and hospitality to each Ojos Locos guest.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Adhering to all Image & Costume guidelines
- Greets and seats guests, presents menus to guests, informs them of special catches and soups
- Treats all guests to ensure their complete satisfaction and strives to exceed expectations
- Takes names on a waiting list
- Runs the floor plan board
- Observes tables and tracks clean, dirty, and occupied tables
- Takes guest information and quotes wait times accurately when tables are not immediately available
- Cleans, organizes, and stocks menus at the host area
- Answers calls and addresses questions concerning the menu and restaurant
- Interacts with guests as they arrive and as they leave to ensure a positive dining experience
- Fills to‑go orders, if applicable
- Sweeps foyer and front entrance area frequently
- Performs other duties as directed
