Food Runner - Part Time

Overview

We are seeking a Food Runner to become an integral part of our team. You will take orders and serve food to patrons at our fine dining establishment.

• Support wait staff in carrying beverages and meal items to designated tables.
• Communicate with waiters to determine needs, carry food items from the expediting counter to the right table, and assist with cleanup duties after service.

• Previous experience as restaurant Server or Food Runner
• A true desire to serve others and a commitment to providing high quality service
• Outstanding interpersonal communication skills and attention to detail
• Team player, able to diplomatically foster relationships with Members, Employees and Guests
• Ability to learn quickly and work in fast paced position with high member and guest interaction
• TABC current certification
• Must have schedule flexibility for both AM/PM shifts, weekends and holidays
• English language to include speaking, reading and writing
• Ability to lift, pull, and push moderate to heavy amount of weight (minimum of 30 lbs)
• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to build rapport with guests
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Perform other restaurant duties as assigned
