The Tradition Senior Living is a Texas-based Luxury Senior Living organization committed to excellence in all we do to serve our residents. Since our inception, we have expanded to multiple locations in the Dallas, Houston, and Fort Worth areas. Each community offers a comprehensive continuum of care that includes Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care.

We are currently seeking a Full-time Cook at our Houston - Buffalo Speedway community. In this role, you will be responsible for the timely preparation of meals with a high‑quality presentation, following approved recipes and preparation guides. You will assist with sanitation of the food service areas, receive and inventory supplies, maintain a safe and sanitary environment, and follow regulatory guidelines.

The Cook reports directly to our Executive Chef
, who oversees day‑to‑day operations of the community's Food & Beverage department.

• Cook quality food.
• Style meals to meet quality and timeliness standards.
• Keep the kitchen and service areas clean.
• Present meals attractively and ensure entrée availability.
• Maintain guest relations through resident/guest interaction and communication.
• Keep food production records, temperature logs, and cleaning schedules.
• Manage inventory control.

• At least one year of experience cooking in a restaurant setting.
• Possesses strong culinary skills.
• Knowledge of restaurant‑style service related to meal preparation, service, and timing.
• Ability to read and follow recipes.
• Possesses sound organizational and time‑management skills.
• Possesses good judgment, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
