Provides assistance and expertise in various areas of research such as calibration of instrumentation, equipment maintenance and repair, preparation of samples for testing, monitoring of safety equipment and procedures, development and fabrication of prototype equipment, recording of test results, and basic analyses of data.
ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will have both management and experimental responsibilities including but not limited to mouse colony and laboratory management, tissue collection and histology, behavioral studies, and data analysis. Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Powerpoint) are highly desired as is a high degree of organization ability. Finally, in this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute original ideas to research design and execution of projects and serve as co-author to prepare reports and manuscripts for publication.

- Performs advanced techniques and can problem solve most technical problems
- Personally conducts important and/or technically complex experiments
- Receives general supervision, may assist or train others.
Position is funded from research support funds and may be funded on grant funds.
Experience will be considered in lieu of education.
Education will be considered in lieu of experience.
MQ:
Associate's Degree with 3 years experience.
