Job Description:

The Senior Research Analyst will manage ongoing research and evaluation projects for the Policy & Research Group, a research firm based in New Orleans, Louisiana, specializing in research and evaluation of social welfare, public health and education policy and programs.

• Supervise evaluation projects and oversee day-to-day operations of evaluation initiatives.
• Contribute to new proposals and prepare evaluation reports.
• Write grant applications and the evaluation sections of those applications.
• Manage the collection of quantitative and qualitative data; summarize and analyze data; interpret findings and their implications.
• Prepare findings for publication and review published research for relevance.

• Either a Ph.D. in a relevant discipline with some work experience or a Master’s degree with at least seven years of experience.
• Strong communication and organizational skills; ability to manage several projects simultaneously and under deadlines.
• Demonstrated capability in managing project tasks; technical expertise and supervisor/staff development skills are strongly preferred.
• Ability to work independently and with others; represent the company professionally to external stakeholders.
