MINIMUM 2 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE AS A QUALITY CONTROL INSPECTOR.

Connect Staffing is looking for an experienced Quality Control Inspector for a drilling equipment manufacturer in North Houston, TX.

Schedule: Monday – Friday 5:00 Pm-5:30 Am

Requirements Of The Quality Control Inspector
  • At least 2 years of related experience as a Quality Control Inspector is required.
  • Experience in inspecting and verifying the accuracy and calibration of gauges and measuring instruments to ensure conformance to specifications.
  • Experienced in inspecting manufactured drilling motor parts, mainly Rotors, Stators, and Machine motor components.
  • Pass a drug screen, physical, and background check.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals and technical procedures.
  • Knowledge of Word Processing software, Design software, Order processing systems, Manufacturing software, and Database software.
  • Prior experience in roles such as a Quality Assurance Inspector, Quality Technician, Quality Control Technician, Quality Assurance Technician, or QA/QC Analysis a big plus!

Responsibilities Of The Quality Control Inspector
  • Inspect products for compliance with order specifications, legal requirements, and quality standards.
  • Approve or reject products and document examination results.
  • Perform precise measurements, including angles, radii, contours, and surface finishes, using various instruments.
  • Test parts for hardness and verify the accuracy of gauges and measuring tools.
  • Prepare and maintain job tickets, labor cards, inspection reports, and related documentation.
  • Ensure productivity standards are met while maintaining a clean and orderly work area.
  • Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), safety protocols, and ensure safety equipment is in use and operational.
  • Interact professionally with team members to support a collaborative work environment.
