Quality Control Manager

We are seeking a Quality Control Manager to lead and oversee quality operations within a manufacturing environment supporting packaging and gas turbine operations. This role is critical to ensuring products meet the highest standards of performance, safety, and compliance while driving continuous improvement across the production lifecycle. This role is onsite in the Houston area.

• Lead and implement quality control strategies aligned with company goals and industry standards
• Oversee quality processes for welding, machining, assembly, and testing of manufactured components
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ASME, AWS, and applicable quality standards
• Manage incoming material inspections, in-process checks, calibrated equipment, and nonconforming materials
• Drive root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) using tools such as 8D, Fishbone, and FMEA
• Provide supplier quality oversight and support warehouse quality activities
• Maintain inspection records, audits, and quality metrics; present findings and improvement recommendations to leadership
• Train, mentor, and develop quality inspectors and technicians
• Foster a culture of accountability, precision, and continuous improvement

• 5+ years of Quality Management experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of fabrication, welding techniques, and gas turbine components
• Proficiency with quality tools such as Six Sigma, Lean, SPC, Minitab
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality systems
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, P&IDs, and F&IDs
• Ability to manage a team across three locations
• Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills
• ASME / AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) preferred
