Job Responsibilities

* Manage validation programs for different production processes

* Verify inspection reports, quality/production documentation, and certificates;

* Manage non-conformances, root cause analysis and corrective actions
* Prepare the Quality documentation/certificates for the Customers

* Develop or approve product verification plans and respective test methods.

* Deal with Suppliers in the day-by-day job, to ensure products are delivered in line with the required quality level and non-conformities, if any, are closed on time.

* Review design inputs (specifications) and design outputs (reports, prints, etc.) to assure that appropriate design requirements are specified and to evaluate/confirm quality requirements prior to successful design transfer.

* Manage NCRs and manage RCAs

* Define Inspection Methods / Criteria, Equipment Inspection / Calibration Product / Process validation

* Product / Process audits

* Customer Issues management

* Customer Satisfaction process

* Management system document control

* KPIs monitoring and reporting

* Quality Management System audits (internal)

* Quality Management System audits (external)

* Quality Management System audits (suppliers)

Required Skills / Knowledge

* Strong knowledge of turbine, compressor, and generator components and repair processes preferred

* Proficiency in quality tools (e.g., FMEA, SPC, 8D, Fishbone, Pareto).

* Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills.

Experience

* Minimum 5 years of experience in product quality management within rotating equipment manufacturing or repair.

* Experience managing safety programs is preferred.

Education Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred).

* Certifications in ISO 9001, Six Sigma, or ASQ CQE preferred.

Physical Requirements

* Work is normally performed in typical machine shop environment.

* Must be able to sit/stand for up to 8 hours

* Must be able to look at computer monitor for up to 8 hours

* Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

* Must be able to type for long periods of time
