Overview
We are a manufacturing company in Houston serving the oil & gas / offshore industry and are looking for a Lab Technician / Junior QA Engineer who wants to grow into a Quality Manager role
. This is a hands-on position focused on lab work, inspections, documentation, and quality support. Experience can be taught —
attention to detail and willingness to learn are essential
.
- Perform basic lab testing and inspections
- Prepare quality documents (test reports, certificates)
- Maintain traceability and records
- Support quality audits and inspections
- Work closely with production and engineering teams
- 1–5 years of experience in lab, quality, or manufacturing (flexible)
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Comfortable working with procedures and documentation
- Willing to learn and take on increasing responsibility
- Spanish–English bilingual is a plus
- ISO 9001 exposure
- Experience in manufacturing, metals, or oil & gas
- QA, inspection, or lab background
