The Quality Manager will lead and manage all aspects of the quality function for the manufacturing facility: ensuring product conformity to customer specifications, driving continuous improvement in quality systems and processes, managing internal/external audits, and leading the quality team to uphold reputation for precision and on-time delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement and maintain the facility’s quality management system (QMS) in alignment with ISO 9001 standards and company policies.
  • Lead the quality team (inspectors, QA/QC staff) and coordinate with production, engineering, procurement and shipping to ensure quality objectives are met.
  • Monitor and control manufacturing process‑capability, yield, scrap/rework rates, first‑pass failures and corrective‑action/ preventive‑action (CAPA) tracking.
  • Conduct root‑cause analysis of quality non‑conformances and lead corrective and preventive actions; track trends and present quality metrics to leadership.
  • Manage internal and external customer audits, supplier audits and third‑party certifications as needed.
  • Review and approve inspection/test plans, coordinate calibration of measuring/test equipment, manage non‑conforming material disposition and Material Review Board (MRB) activities.
  • Facilitate continuous improvement initiatives: work with production, engineering and maintenance to reduce defects, improve process stability, and increase first‑time yield.
  • Oversee documentation and control of quality records, ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory/industry standards relevant to spring and wire‑form manufacturing.
  • Provide training and development for quality staff and cross‑functional teams on quality tools (e.g., root‑cause analysis, FMEA, Kaizen, SPC).
  • Foster a culture of quality, ownership and continuous improvement across the facility.
Required Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Metallurgy or related technical discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 – 7 years of progressive quality experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of quality systems such as ISO 9001, process capability analysis, SPC, root‑cause analysis, CAPA, PPAP, FMEA.
  • Hands‑on experience leading audits (internal & external) and managing non‑conformance/ corrective action systems.
  • Excellent leadership and team‑development skills; ability to lead, mentor and motivate a quality team.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal & written) to liaise with production, engineering, suppliers and customers.
  • High attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to drive improvement in process stability and product quality.
