Join Our Compassionate Team in the Heart of Crozet! Animal Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated and caring leader to join our team as a Medical Director (DVM/VMD) in Crozet, Virginia. • Support our clinicians in the personal development of medical and administrative needs
• Leading the staff and practice by growing the team, holding meetings, conducting annual reviews, developing and monitoring compliance protocols
• Partnering with your Regional Operations manager to ensure compliance with regulations, assist in the preparation of annual planning strategy, and develop a vision for the growth of the practice
• Partnering with hospital leadership to lead the team, ensuring a culture of quality medicine and financial success for the clinic

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree, or equivalent, from an accredited university
• Ideally, 5+ years of practice experience
• Positive and effective leadership
• Ability to manage staff and outcomes with emotional intelligence
• Commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics
• Delegation of tasks and achieving results with practice team members
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
