Locum - Nurse Practitioner - General Medicine Houston, TX

Required Skills:
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license in Texas
- Proven experience in family medicine, internal medicine, or general medicine
- Strong interview and assessment skills
- Ability to perform physical assessments including range of motion and muscle strength testing
- Excellent communication and professionalism
Skills:
- Prior experience with compensation and pension examinations
- Knowledge of veteran-specific health assessments and protocols
- Familiarity with electronic medical records systems
- Certifications related to veteran health or occupational medicine
Education and Experience:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing (ARNP, NP)
- Minimum of 2 years clinical experience in a primary care or general medicine setting
- Previous experience performing Compensation & Pension exams or separation health assessments
- Ability to see patients independently within designated radius
- Must own or have access to an appropriate office (for roles requiring own office)
- Willingness to travel locally as needed
- Compliance with all applicable licensure, certification, and training requirements
- No prescribing or treatment responsibilities; focus on interview-based assessments
Hourly Pay Rate: $402.00
