Clinical Nurse, Outpatient - Endocrine Center

MD Anderson's Endocrine Center is one of the nation's few comprehensive programs focused entirely on diagnosing and treating both benign and malignant endocrine diseases. Our pathologists are uniquely specialized in endocrine disorders and use advanced diagnostic tools, including dynamic hormonal testing, genetic testing, nuclear medicine imaging, and cross‑sectional body imaging, to ensure accurate diagnosis and exceptional patient care.

The ideal candidate will be a licensed RN with at least two years of clinical nurse experience, preferably in an oncology outpatient setting. Critical care experience is a plus.

Experience with prior authorization, insurance, and working with multidisciplinary teams is a plus. Must be able to work in a fast‑paced clinic.

Shift: Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

Salary range: $68,000 (minimum) – $105,000 (midpoint) – $142,000 (maximum)

Hourly breakdown of salary range: minimum $32.69 – midpoint $50.48 – maximum $68.27

The primary purpose of the Outpatient Clinical Nurse position is to coordinate and implement patient care across the continuum of care. The Outpatient Clinical Nurse is accountable and responsible for providing quality, evidence‑based patient care through the appropriate use of resources in collaboration with the inter‑professional team. Acts as a patient and family advocate to uphold patient rights. Organizes and prioritizes work of patient care team;

trains, coaches and assists team members to ensure optimum patient care and efficient use of resources.
