RN Pediatric Intensive Care Nurse - CICU

We are seeking an experienced Pediatric Cardiac ICU Registered Nurse to work within a premier hospital located in the Houston, TX area. They’re offering a potential for a generous sign-on bonus plus relocation assistance!!

Full-Time – Nights (7p-7a or 11p-11a) with Rotating Weekends

• You will perform direct patient care within the scope of the Nurse Practice Act, with emphasis on the critically ill patient with Congenital Heart Disease and/or Surgery
• You will organize, implement, modify, evaluate, document and maintain the plan of care. This plan will be individualized, family centered and holistic
• You will maintain a safe and therapeutic environment
• You will participate in CHSU initiatives and process improvement
• You will incorporate teaching into all aspects of nursing practice

• (RN) Registered Nurse license
• Associate Degree required; BSN required within 6-month enrollment and 24 month completion (Magnet Hospital that offers a paid ASN to BSN program)
• MUST have 1-year recent Pediatric ICU RN experience in an acute care hospital
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
• CCRN Preferred

Pay rates:
Up to $65.10/hr. (Based on experience)
