Join Our Team as a Locum Nurse Practitioner - General Medicine in Houston, TX

We are seeking a highly qualified Locum Nurse Practitioner to provide exceptional general medicine care through Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments.

Required Skills:

Valid Nurse Practitioner license in Texas
Proven experience in general medicine or related fields
Strong assessment and clinical evaluation skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced setting
Knowledge of Veterans' health services and protocols is a plus

Nice to Have

Skills:

Experience with Compensation & Pension examinations
Background in internal medicine, family medicine, or orthopedic care
Prior experience working with government agencies or in a Veteran-related capacity
Certification in specialized areas related to general medicine

Preferred

Education and Experience:

Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing (MSN or DNP)
Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner
Prior experience performing assessments and physical examinations
Familiarity with medical documentation and reporting requirements for government or military settings

Other Requirements:

Must have own office in Houston, TX, or be willing to work at a nearby location within 50 miles
Ability to travel locally for exam sites if applicable
Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR
Willingness to complete required training and onboarding processes
Availability for PRN scheduling, including partial or full days as needed
