Our multidisciplinary team works closely to provide comprehensive cardiovascular services, from preventative care to advanced diagnostics and procedures. We are looking for a dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join our team and help us continue raising the standard of care.
Position Summary:
The Nurse Practitioner will provide direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up, in collaboration with our physicians. This role involves both in-office patient visits and coordination of ongoing treatment plans, with a strong focus on quality, safety, and patient education.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
Order, interpret, and follow up on diagnostic tests and imaging studies.
Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with state regulations.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other team members to ensure seamless patient care.
Perform patient education regarding disease prevention, treatment plans, and healthy lifestyle practices.
Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation in the EMR.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with MIPS and other performance measures.
Qualifications:
Current Nurse Practitioner license in Texas and in good standing.
Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
Strong diagnostic and clinical skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
EMR proficiency (experience with eClinical
Works preferred).
