Shift:
** 7:30 AM – 8:00 PM
* Steady hours (36 hours/week). Overtime is permitted.
* Work with a respected VA healthcare team
* Credentialing help, professional liability coverage, and workers’ comp are provided

Shifts are available
** 24/7**, including
** weekends and holidays**, to ensure continuous care for our nation’s heroes.
** Floating
* ** ICU nurses are required to float as needed to other departments, including Med Surg, Stepdown (SDU), the Spinal Cord unit, and the Community Living Center (CLC). Most of the time, the floating is to Med Surg and SDU.
** What You’ll Do
*** Complete and document accurate patient assessments
* Deliver safe, compassionate, high-quality care per VA standards
* Work collaboratively with staff, patients, and families
* Attend all required VA training and ongoing education
* Maintain reliability, professionalism, and excellent attendance
** Requirements**
* ** BSN Graduate
** of a school of nursing that was approved and/or accredited by the
** Accreditation Commission of Education in Nursing (ACEN)
** or the
** Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE)
*** Active,
** unrestricted RN license** (any U.S. state accepted)
* ** Current BLS and ACLS certifications**
* ** 3+ years of recent Intensive Care Unit experience** (within the last 5 years), and float experience to Med Surg units.
* Must pass background check, drug screen, and health clearance
