Clinical Nurse – Non-Operating Room Recovery Unit Joining the Non-Operating Room Recovery Unit at MD Anderson means supporting high-acuity patients in a fast-paced, post-procedural environment where adaptability, clinical excellence, and teamwork are essential. Nurses in this role contribute to critical recovery care across P3 and PACU units, helping patients transition safely and compassionately. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of two years of nursing experience in critical care settings such as the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), Telemetry, or the Emergency Room.

They will demonstrate strong teamwork, adaptability, and a high level of professional conduct. The ability to perform effectively under pressure and manage time efficiently is essential. Additionally, a positive attitude and excellent interpersonal relationship skills are key attributes for success in this role.

This full-time shift position includes a rotating schedule of:

  • 2×12-hour shifts (10:00 AM – 10:30 PM)
  • 2×8-hour shifts (2:00 PM – 10:30 PM)
  • Weekend and on-call coverage required

Shift assignments will be finalized based on institutional needs.
Hourly breakdown of salary range:
Minimum $32.69 – Midpoint $48.56 – Maximum $64.42
