Overview

What You’ll Do- Assess, triage, and manage patient care in collaboration with the healthcare team
- Obtain medical histories, perform exams, and order/interpret diagnostic tests
- Perform advanced procedures: arterial/central lines, pulmonary artery catheter, intubation, chest tube removal, thoracentesis
- Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and update care plans
- Maintain and improve clinical protocols; ensure compliance with regulations
- Educate patients and families on care and resources
- Support quality improvement and safety initiatives
- Mentor and train
- Engage in professional development and continuing education
- Perform additional duties as needed
- Texas APRN license + AGACNP certification
- 2+ years critical care or cardiac ICU experience (RN or NP)
- Experience with LVADs, ECMO, heart transplant, or post‑op cardiac care
- Current BLS & ACLS certifications
