Registered Nurse

Responsibilities

• The RN provides professional nursing care to a diverse patient population, conducts nursing assessments, assists with exams and treatment, patient education, and maintenance of medical records.
• Direct patient care effectively and efficiently which may include patients with varied and complex needs.
• Communicates and collaborates with the physicians and inter-professional health care team to facilitate, coordinate and maintain compassionate, efficient, quality care and achievement of desired treatment outcomes.
• Demonstrates clinical competence when providing care, using technology, administering medications, performing procedures and managing emergencies, acting as a patient and family advocate in order to monitor and maintain patient rights.
• Assumes leadership roles with progressive responsibility including but not limited to participating in or leading unit and shared governance initiatives, serving as charge nurse or preceptor to students or new employees, and possibly contributing to service line or hospital-wide initiatives in partnership with management.

Houston, TX (must be willing to relocate)

• Bachelor of Science degree or higher from an accredited School of Nursing
• 1 - 3 years Emergency Room Nursing or Med/Surg Experience
• At least 1 year of acute care experience in trauma 1, 2, or 3 hospitals
• Must have at least 2 years in an ER setting
• ACLS
• PALS
• BLS
• TX license or compact license required
• Must be OPEN TO NIGHT SHIFTS
• No travel - will work in the hospital

• Sign on bonus, relocation and visa sponsorship available
• Will provide relocation if they do not live in Houston, TX.
• Should be able to join in 30 Days
• Hiring all shifts - days, nights
• Will hire from Mexico and Canada on a TN visa - no cost to candidate
