Job Summary and Responsibilities
As a Registered Nurse, you will provide excellence in patient care by assessing, formulating nursing diagnoses, establishing goals, planning and implementing interventions, and evaluating outcomes. You will participate in maintaining quality, cost‑effectiveness, and guest relations. Patient care will be delivered in compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and the standards of professional nursing practice set by the Board of Nursing Examiners for the State of Texas.
Education/ Certification / Licensure
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing or Diploma (required)
- Bachelor’s in Nursing (preferred). Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN) is required within 2 years of hire; current employees grandfathered before July 2020.
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Texas (required)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (required)
- Minimum of one year RN experience (required)
- Demonstrated competence in Registered Nurse I performance expectations or meets experience requirements upon hire (required)
