Overview
Regional Medical Center in Houston is seeking an experienced Night Nurse Practitioner to provide high-quality patient care during overnight hours. This role is ideal for a confident, autonomous NP who thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment and values flexible scheduling.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver comprehensive patient assessments, diagnosis, and treatment during night shifts
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and hospital teams to ensure continuity of care
- Manage acute and ongoing patient needs in accordance with clinical protocols
- Accurately document patient encounters and clinical decisions
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, state regulations, and professional standards
- Active Nurse Practitioner license (State of Texas)
- Current DEA registration
- Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently overnight
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Competitive $80/hour compensation
- Flexible overnight scheduling - 10/12 hour shift
- 1099 independent contractor structure
- Supportive clinical environment
