• Deliver care to 4-6 patients per shift.
• Administer medications, change dressings, monitor vital signs, and chart with timely documentation.
• Collaborate with a variety of other healthcare professionals such as social work, care coordination, physical therapy, occupational therapy, lab, respiratory therapy and imaging.
• Unit also cares for med‑surg telemetry patients (nursing surgical floor, not OR).
• Specializes in abdominal surgery including bariatrics.
• Approximately 30 beds.
• RN to patient ratio 1:5.

Qualifications and

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) within 2 years from date of hire.
• At least one (1) year of RN experience.
• Active Registered Nurse license in good standing with the Texas Board of Nursing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS).
