Position
Nurse Manager – North Gulf (North Gulf) – Texas Oncology – Full‑time – Oncology Clinic, Kingwood, Texas.
OverviewTexas Oncology, a leading community oncology provider, seeks an Oncology Clinic Nurse Manager to support our Kingwood location. The role will support operations, clinical standards, staff development, and quality initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure clinical operations and practice consistent with organizational objectives.
- Collaborates with practice management to provide support on operational projects such as site Quality Committees, Quality Oncology Practice Initiative site assessments, Advancing Care Information, the Oncology Care Model (OCM), and other special projects as assigned.
- Facilitates the implementation and/or utilization of outcomes data and evidence-based practices.
- Facilitates implementation of standardized best practices within the organization.
- Ensures practice standards of care are consistent with community standards of care.
- Ensures the incorporation of clinical evidence into existing and newly developed standards.
- Assesses staffing levels and issues, patient flow, current practices in the clinical setting.
- Assists with the development of company‑wide clinical competency testing and skills validation programs.
- Demonstrates working knowledge of applicable labor laws and schedules and coordinates employee staffing including vacations, sick leave and overtime.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, BSN or MSN preferred, RN state license and current registration with the State Board of Nursing in practicing state.
- Current BLS certification required.
- Minimum of five (5) years actively practicing as a registered nurse, including at least three years oncology experience.
- Minimum of three (3) years of leadership experience.
- Oncology certification preferred.

Working ConditionsEnvironment:
Office/clinical. Possible exposure to communicable diseases, toxic substances, ionizing radiation, medical preparations.
Physical requirements:
full range of motion, standing & walking for extensive periods, handling & lifting patients, lifting up to 40 lbs. Requires corrected vision & hearing within normal range.
