Position: Registered Nurse (RN) - PreOp/PACU

Now Hiring Pre Op and PACU Registered Nurses (RNs) – North Houston Area (The Woodlands, Montgomery, Conroe)

We are currently hiring experienced Pre Op and/or PACU RNs for per diem shifts throughout the North Houston metroplex, including The Woodlands, Montgomery, and Conroe areas.

Responsibilities (Pre Op / PACU)
  • Review and assess preoperative and postoperative physician orders and diagnostic data
  • Obtain and verify patient medical history upon admission
  • Collaborate with physicians, anesthesia providers, and surgical teams to ensure seamless transitions before and after procedures
  • Anticipate patient care needs and follow up as necessary
  • Perform comprehensive assessments of patients and families, including health literacy and education
  • Plan care based on assessments and established policies and procedures
  • Perform clinical procedures such as IV medication administration, phlebotomy, EKGs, and specimen collection
  • Complete admission/discharge documentation and physician order entry accurately
  • Maintain high standards of documentation, communication, and reporting
  • Educate patients and families on care instructions, treatments, and recovery expectations
Qualifications and Skills
  • Valid RN license in the state of Texas
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Pre Op and/or PACU settings
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new facilities and conditions
  • Commitment to delivering high‑quality, patient‑centered care
  • Additional onboarding documentation will be explained during the process
