The RTC Registered nurse is responsible for applying clinical nursing knowledge and skills to promote the safety and comfort of patients
and families according to legal, organizational, and professional standards. This position will collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to
provide exceptional care to RTC patients through education, nursing assessment, and administration of medication.
The RTC Registered Nurse assesses physiological and psychosocial needs, implements nursing interventions, and communicates patient
concerns to the healthcare team

Salary Range: $43.99 - $44.01 (Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.)
Qualifications
Education
Required:
Associate degree in nursing.
Preferred:
Bachelor's degree in nursing.
Experience
Required:
5 years RN experience
OR
2 years in ICU and/or Emergency Department
Preferred: ICU experience or over 5 years' experience in
Emergency Department
License(s)
Required:
Valid and current Texas RN license
BLS through American Heart Association
ACLS within 3 months of employment
Completion annually of 10 CEU's related to
Emergency Care
Preferred: ACLS
CCRN
Special Skills
Required:
Able to use equipment and related supplies for selected patient population and for CPR, oxygen
administration, and intravenous therapy.
Basic Computer Skills
Experience with EMRs
Preferred: EPIC experience
IV access experience
Port access experience
Other
Required:
Clear communication skills both verbal and written
Preferred: N/A
