• Deliver care to 4-6 patients per shift.
• Administer medications, change dressings, monitor vital signs, and chart with timely documentation.
• Collaborate with a variety of other healthcare professionals such as social work, care coordination, physical therapy, occupational therapy, lab, respiratory therapy, and imaging to care for cancer patients.
• Specialty:
  Liquid and solid tumors, hematology floor, multiple blood transfusions in one shift, chemotherapy, good IV skills, good clinical judgement and assessment skills for recognizing oncologic emergencies, oncology‑trained nurses, 30% oncology certified nurses (OCN) – oncology specialty, minor spinal surgery overflow (laminectomies).
• Other:
  Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) trained for biochemotherapy infusions, RN IIIs & RN IVs engaged in shared governance serving in multiple hospital‑based practice councils.

• Degree in Nursing from an accredited program (college or university).
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) within 2 years from date of hire.
• At least one (1) year of RN experience.
• Active Registered Nurse license in good standing with the Texas Board of Nursing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
