The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) ensures and delivers high‑quality, patient‑centered care and coordinates all functions in the unit during the shift. In collaboration with the management team, the CNC directs, monitors, and evaluates nursing care in accordance with established policies and procedures, serves as a resource for staff, and models the organization’s vision, mission, and values.

• Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high‑quality, patient‑centered care.
• Participate in the ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services in the unit.
• Collaborate with subject‑matter experts and other managers to create an environment of teamwork that supports improved outcomes and service.
• Support efforts to improve engagement by operationalizing current nursing strategies, including employee rounding, hourly rounds, and other initiatives.
• Provide recommendations related to interviewing, selecting, training new staff, implementing conflict resolution, personnel policy compliance, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions.
• Support proper inventory control and assist with managing supplies and equipment.

• Registered Nurse (RN) with an active license in the state of Texas or a compact license.
• Associate Degree required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• At least 1 year of clinical Med‑Surg experience as a licensed RN in an acute‑care setting (Telemetry, Cardiac).
