PT GI Nurse Practitioner

The Part-Time Nurse Practitioner provides comprehensive gastroenterology care under physician supervision in a clinical setting.

• Responsibilities include patient assessments, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, diagnosing and managing GI and liver conditions, developing treatment plans, prescribing medications, and patient education.
• Collaborates with healthcare team to ensure coordinated care and maintains accurate documentation in compliance with regulations.
• Participates in staff meetings, training, and quality initiatives, adhering to clinical and ethical standards.
• Requires a Master’s degree in Nursing, current Texas NP license, national certification, and at least one year of NP experience, preferably in gastroenterology.

Schedule involves two days per week (8 hours each), with potential for additional shifts.

Physical demands include standing, walking, and patient lifting in a clinical environment.

Must be willing to relocate to Farwell, TX prior to start.
