BACKFILL – Travel RN – CVOR

Location: Houston, TX
Unit: Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Schedule Options: Four 10-hour shifts or five 8-hour shifts

• Gross Weekly Pay: $2,360
• Weekly Stipend: $1,456
• W2 Rate: $22.60/hr

Facility & Unit Details

• Operating Rooms: 14 total (2 CVORs, 12 ORs)
• Staffing:
  • 8 RNs, 8 Surgical Technologists
  • Day Shift: 6 RNs, 6 STs
• Patient Ratio: 1:1
• EMR: Meditech ORM

Shift & Call Requirements

• Shift starts at 6:30 AM with daily huddle at 6:45 AM
• Weeknight and weekend call required
• Call response time: 30 minutes
• On-call frequency: 1–2 shifts per week (self-scheduled based on PTO requests)
• Weekend coverage: 24-hour call Saturday & Sunday
• Weekday call begins after scheduled shift

Required Experience & Skills

Must Have:

• Minimum 2 years OR Circulating experience in an acute care hospital
• CVOR experience
• Experience with General Surgery, ENT, Uro/Gyn, Ortho, and Robotics
