Our center offers a wide range of surgical services in a patient-focused environment, supported by a collaborative team of skilled healthcare professionals.

We are currently seeking an experienced and compassionate Pre-Op Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team on a per-diem (PRN) basis. The Pre-Op RN is responsible for preparing patients for surgery, ensuring all preoperative requirements are met, and providing safe, patient-centered care throughout the preoperative phase.

Responsibilities:

* Perform comprehensive preoperative assessments, including medical history, vital signs, and patient education.

* Review and verify patient documentation, consents, and lab results.

* Administer preoperative medications as ordered and monitor patient response.

* Provide education and emotional support to patients and families regarding the surgical process.

* Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other clinical staff to ensure smooth transitions of care.

* Maintain compliance with infection control, safety, and regulatory standards.

* Document all patient care accurately and timely in the electronic medical record (EMR).

* Assist in maintaining a safe, efficient, and supportive pre-op environment.
